1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VetStack (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

VetStack is operated by VooStack ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of VetStack, including any content, functionality, and services offered through the application.

2. Description of Service

VetStack is a mobile and web application that provides veterans with access to their VA benefits claims information through the official VA Benefits Claims API. The Service allows you to:

• View your VA benefits claims information
• Track the status of your claims
• Receive notifications about claim updates
• Access historical claims data

3. Eligibility

To use VetStack, you must:

• Be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces with valid VA.gov credentials
• Have an active account with ID.me or Login.gov
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

4. User Accounts and Authentication

4.1 VA.gov Authentication

VetStack uses official VA.gov OAuth authentication. You will sign in using your existing VA.gov credentials through ID.me or Login.gov. We do not create, store, or manage your VA.gov credentials.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your VA.gov credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your VetStack account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

4.3 Authorization

By using VetStack, you authorize us to access your VA benefits claims information on your behalf through the VA Benefits Claims API. You may revoke this authorization at any time through your VA.gov account settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use VetStack only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Use any automated system to access the Service except as permitted by us
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Share your account access with others
• Use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by VooStack and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use VetStack for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the Service
• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense access to the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose

7. Third-Party Services

VetStack integrates with several third-party services, including:

• VA Benefits Claims API: Official Department of Veterans Affairs API
• Firebase: Google's platform for authentication, analytics, and data storage
• ID.me and Login.gov: Authentication credential providers

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or functionality of third-party services.

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using VetStack, you agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 No Warranty

VetStack is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Not a VA Service

VetStack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Department of Veterans Affairs. We provide a third-party interface to access publicly available VA data through official APIs. We do not provide medical advice, legal advice, or benefits counseling.

9.3 Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of claims data displayed in VetStack. For official information about your VA benefits claims, please refer to VA.gov or contact the VA directly.

9.4 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that VetStack will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control, including VA API availability.

9.5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VooStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VooStack and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of VetStack
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

11.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue VetStack (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

11.2 Terms Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the "Last Updated" date. By continuing to access or use VetStack after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

12. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to VetStack immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may terminate your use of VetStack at any time by:

• Revoking VetStack's authorization in your VA.gov account settings
• Uninstalling the VetStack mobile application
• Ceasing to access VetStack via web

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or VetStack shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VooStack regarding VetStack and supersede all prior agreements.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
