Follow these simple steps to start using VetStack

Download VetStack

VetStack is currently in pre-release. Sign up to be notified when the app launches on your preferred platform.

Note: VetStack is 100% free for all veterans. No subscriptions, no hidden fees, ever.

Create or Link Your VA Account

VetStack uses secure OAuth authentication through VA.gov. You'll need one of the following verified accounts:

  • ID.me - Most common verification method
  • Login.gov - Government-wide login service
  • DS Logon - Department of Defense authentication
  • My HealtheVet - VA health portal credentials

Security First: VetStack never stores your VA.gov credentials. All authentication happens directly through official VA systems.

Grant VetStack Access

On first login, you'll be asked to authorize VetStack to access your VA benefits claims information.

  • Review the permissions VetStack requests
  • Authorize access to your claims data (read-only)
  • You can revoke access anytime through VA.gov settings

VetStack only requests read access to your claims. We cannot modify or submit claims on your behalf.

View Your Claims

Once authorized, VetStack will sync your VA benefits claims information:

  • See all your claims in one organized view
  • Check detailed status information for each claim
  • View claim history and timelines
  • Track updates in real-time
  • Access claims offline (previously loaded data)

Enable Notifications (Optional)

Stay informed about your claims with push notifications:

  • Get alerts when claim status changes
  • Receive notifications for required actions
  • Customize notification preferences
  • Control notification frequency

Privacy: All notifications are sent securely and you can disable them anytime in settings.
